Maintain a Healthy Glow at any Age for Zero Dollars! The stresses of life coupled with work and kids can start to wear on our faces and as we age our once youthful skin starts to lose its firmness and glow. Not only does our skin become less firm, but we often start to notice dark circles or bags around our eyes from depleting ourselves of not enough sleep. One of the key factor’s to a healthy vibrant you and to maintaining a healthy glow for your skin is getting enough rest. Skin cells do their repair work most effectively at night. Research shows that skin cell regeneration is maximized at night, between 11:00pm and 4:00pm. Production of collagen is boosted, harmful free radicals are destroyed and cell damage is rectified. Staying up late and not getting enough rest does not allow your skin or your body to naturally repair itself so make sure you make your sleep count and my friends it will cost you nothing. Also, if you are noticing bags or dark circles around your eyes, elevate your head with an additional pillow at night and this will help with fluid retention around the eyes. Lastly, use an ice cube out of the freezer in the morning and at night and rub it all over your face and this will promote skin firmness.
