For bigger families or those on a tight budget, especially who want their families to be healthier, stretch that grocery store budget and meal by making dishes that include veggies in the same pot with the meats. For example, instead of just roasted chicken or roast, pull the cooked meat apart, add in lots of your favorite fresh veggies, and saute with a simple sauce! Voila! You’ve stretched your dish at least two times over. You can serve over rice or pasta and stretch it even more. Great taste! Great nutrition! Great savings!
